so i was thinking the other day that i might wanna play all my music from my hardrive onto my home stereo.. is there a way i could do this? my home stereo uses rca cables and my home computer just has a simple headphone output same as the input.. its really not a great soundcard but it works fine for me.. im thinking radio shack or something might have an adapter that lets me transfer from a headphone jack to an rca input and if so would it split the left and right (red, white) as well hmmmm. feed back would be much appreciated.

yes, it is a 1/8" to RCA converter. Very common, very cheap. Get it at Radio Shack.

shouldn't cost you more than $5 depending on length.
