for the most part it sux.. if you're planning on doing some sort of kiddy happy sort of track than it may work.. but for a regular trance track it definitly needs to be harder and prefferably not an off-beat bass..

The EQ on it is a little wack, too.

maybe it was just my ears playin tricks on me, but here is my critique:

its short, meaning who knows, it could develop into something awesome, or could stay as plain jane as it sounds now and suck... so its hard to make an educated critique..

too monotonous, (im not the best with terminology so bare with me), meaning the range of it is too simple. most profesional sounding bassline though only a small range of the notes that stand out to you, if you really listen you will barely hear bass notes an octave lower complementing the notes that stand out, making it sound much fuller and better. MY GRAMMAR KINDA SUCKS TOO EH?

but yeah, it does sound happy-esque. like a 'happy clapper' production of some sorts. but all genres and sub genres have their place, keep workin with it.

though the 'happy' sound of production may not be the big thing right now, i know ive made my best stuff just going way out of the norm to where the music takes me, as opposed towhen i try to force a pvd-esque mainstream production that leads me to pure shit. just go with what your ears and mind like, you will be much mroe pleased in the end.

*edit* im not saying mainstream pvd like prodcutions are shit, only when i try to produce stuff like that, my stuff turns out to sound like shit... ok just thought id clear that one up...
