DJUnderground.com - upload your mixes for free!
Hey folks,
My name is Patrick Morano and I have been working on a site for the past year now. The site has had a lot of trials and tribulations since May 2003. I've poured my heart, soul, and every spare minute of the day I had into this site in hopes of it being useful to the community. It is a site that I take a lot of pride in, and I hope others feel the same.
DJUnderground.com is an online electronic music community for DJs and Producers to submit their mixes or tracks they have created for others to download. It's purpose is to give electronic musicians who have no idea where to start promoting themselves a way to let others hear their music. The greatest thing about the site is that it isn't location oriented: it's worldwide.
At DJUnderground.com, anyone can sign up and upload their music. When I say anyone, I mean anyone. It doesn't matter if you've only been DJ'ing for a couple months, or if you just started to learn Reason and want to show off some tracks you made from songs. Membership is free. Anyone is able to upload one of their own mixes or tracks, and you don't have to pay a dime.
All types of electronic music are welcomed here. Trance, House, Progressive, Jungle, Ambient, Techno, and just about anything else that is considered electronic music has a home here.
DJUnderground.com isn't about who the best DJ is. It's not about what Producer dominates the music realm right now. This site is about the electronic music community, supporting our fellow DJs, cheering on our bedroom producers, and overall just listening to some great electronic music.
As I said above, DJUnderground.com is an online electronic music community. I've learned this past year that if I want to see more information on the site, such as industry news and reviews, events, and other items a community has to offer, I have to turn to the community. If any of you like what you see and enjoy the feel of the site, and you would love to help make this grow, please drop me a line. Just use the Contact page on the site.
Okay, I won't bore you folks any more with my ramblings. Check out the site, I'm sure you will enjoy it
