Who is the best Mario cart character to be?

I'm talking about Nintendo 64 here.

I prefer Yoshi, b/c he's small but doesn't always get run over like Toad.

bowser...he rocks. I love it when he gets the turbo mushrooms and lets out a roar.

he's good though at the beginning when you get the rocket start and can spin everybody out that's ahead of you

since the super nintendo days, i've always picked the koopa trooper. word.

yoshi on snes and n64

on Gamecube I use Waluigi & Toad, some strength & pace with no loss of cornering skills

toad... dont ask my reasoning. dont really have any. ive just liked him since the snes days.

I always used to go Luigi because his voice and little phrases were the best.

Its all about wario.

Not so much for the game play but I spent and entire night high as a kite laughing my ass off at "here we go".

Ah Wario...suppose he was a good charactor but his screams realy do pee me off.
