I had 1 elective first year and I chose economics. When I met with my faculty advisor in August he thought I was nuts (considering the 32 hours of class/labs that I had, which didn't even include the elective).
I busted my ass and did fine - but I should have taken his advice (which was to take the easiest elective {as opposed to the hardest, which was economics):
Psych 025
----
So take psychology - apparently it's the easiest (according to some old electrical engineering PhD guy)...
Dark Dirty Tech Tribal. | Hands in air (trance) and feet on the floor (house).

In addition - I took socialogy as an elective while doing 2nd year studies (I found it much easier than macro/micro economic theory) and after discussing it with friends who took psych - psych was easier.
Should have listened to my faculty advisor (stupid me)...
History of Technology
Internet and Impact on Society
General Health and Safety
Communication Skills
