Your buildup to 2.40 is nice, but kinda long to me.
ooh...i like the part starting @ 2.40mins!...and the way it builds up and where it seems like the beats are fighting to be heard. The contrasts are nice...and now i feel like im moving.
you break off the flow @ 4.30ish and it sounds like it's leading nowhere, but then you stop and i thought it was about to end but then you come back with another funky beat @ 5.35, and it sounds crazy. i like it here.
you have a couple of elements going on, and you utilize the melody in different ways.
all in all...i like the 3min section. really brought the mood up.
good job
cheers! rex.

great, finally i got a response after 4 days!! thanks for your views blayzinyo and the detailed reply. so u liked the last 3 mins best?
i had no idea that the build up was kind of long. the part from 5:35 is a repeat of the starting tune. kind of progressive. anyways i appreciate that you could spend some time on the track.

peace

Hi Sunneal

Ok here we go,

1. Inital Pad sounds great
2. Kick is nice but sounds a bit too blury for my taste. Hard to explain..
3. I like many of the synths you're using. Baseline synths especially
4. I don't like the snare (in the beginning). Sounds weak maybe? How about compressing it or equing it more...
5. I like the breakdown.. and generally after the breakdown I like it more. Sounds more balanced. But yes last three minutes I like more.
5. At 2:11 the synth that comes in is louder than expected. Maybe you can adjust the level so it gradually goes to that level
6. The dark baseline is great! I like it...

Generally it's a good piece...

Keep it up! :-)

Good luck,

-Nektarios

Nektarios ,thanks man. liked the dark bassnine ? FM7 did the trick Synth at 2:11 too loud? i wanted to change the flow there, thats why. probably could reduce it wee-bit. ya i feel that the snare and the kick needs to be re-worked. maybe make the kick more punchy and the snare more defined. kind of missed that out. thanks for bringing it up!

peace

No problem. Any time. Well the level at 2:11 can be left the same if you maybe fade it in at that level so it does not come in too sudden...

Anyway, good luck!

One of your synths has some mega portamento going on... almost sounds like it wasn't meant to be like that. If it was, I apologize

Nice work guy, it's original !
I agree with nectario, your synth coming at 2.11 is a bit louder.
I think too that your drums can be improved, add some percs, like shaker, openhat, clap (or snare), because it's a bit "light" with just a kick and one hat, your track will be more dynamic with some other rythms, because your synths are good and this track has a great potential...

Cheers !

120 seems really really slow to my tastes

bump that up to at least 135 or 140

i do like that bassline, very dirty and grungy, that's how i like it

The portamento synth sounds a little off but the gated saw that comes in sounds pretty cool. you need to raise your kick levels to add more punch into it. layer a little more to keep the track interesting. keep presenting something new, a little submelody or whatnot.

good track dude, keep it up
