Anyone catch Sandra Collins last night in Milwaukee?
Sandra Collins at Three last night.... whew, where to start? First of all, it was one banging @ss set, she lit the place up, as the pictures show. On the flip side of the set, she was fucked up beyond recognition. I am not even sure she knew where she was at times....
At one point during the set, I was chit chatting with Granddaddy and she leaves the DJ booth, hauls ass down the aisle and out the front door. Everybody just kind of does the "What the F*ck" look and glances around nervously. Music still playing, I head out to see what happened. By the time I get out, she is down the street and on her way back to the club, still hauling ass. In her hand she is clutching a box of Swisher Sweets. I guess when you have a nic fit, you have a nic fit. Here's a pic of her diving back into the club....

So, the set goes on and everyone has a great time. The lights come up with the obvious "time to go" shouting of the bouncers. Well, they were especially ready to get people out of there because there were like 40-50 cops sitting outside. Turns out some guy was punching the windows out of his (ex?) girlfriends car. Bare handed....
By the time we get done getting autographs and pics with Sandra, there was nearly a full scale riot outside. People getting thrown to the ground, thrown out of the way. I get about 30-40 feet away and remember I have a camera. So I take a couple of snapshots of the police which turn out OK, but don't really convey the chaos going on...

All in all, an awesome time and a great set by one lubricated Sandra Collins.
