I went to the Illuminaion by Phantasmos about a month ago. I have been to 3 events so far. The Illuminaion is a Christain dance event, basicaly an event with out drugs or alcohol. It is also a small event with most of the time, less than 100 people there. Which is great for dancing because you have a good share of room to yourself. The event travels arount the Northeast, but mainly stays in Connecticut. So for those of you who are in the tri-state area, I would strongly suggest it. There are DJs there playing various forms of trance, progressive, drum and bass, and some other forms too. They have a nice chill out room great for taking a break. Events in Willimantic,CT genrally run from 9PM to whenever you leave, and events are every 3 months or so. They have water there, but I bring Powerade with me for refueling and hydration. I would also suggest buying glowsticks before you go if you want them to be bright(Phantasmos doesn't have the best quality of glowsticks). A lot of the people at this event aren't deeply into rave culture and many are newbies. I strongly suggest this event for newbies just getting into electronic music and the whole culture behind raving---can't find a better term for that...lol.
