anything w.out phono plugs deserve a big fat WTF

of course that doesn't have to limit you... i have lots of RCA/Phono cords and stuff running around my room, so I always have a bunch of gold plated single channel Phono to 1/4" adapter jacks around just incase... there's nothing more frustrating than not being able to put a signal into your mixer... or computer... or brain... whichever you prefer

**djfreaq plugs main mix out into brain and dissolves**

Do I need to use any type of software? Thanks!

No special software is needed. Any sort of program that will allow you to record from your sound card will do the trick.

I use Adobe Audition 1.5 to record and remove noise/pops from the vinyls I rip.

But anything will do the trick. Even microsoft's sound recorder will record it into a wav file.

But yea, tons of software will do it, nothing special is needed.

Theres also Audacity, it;s a open source recording program for windows, linux, and mac. I really suggest that everyone should check it out. I have had less problems recording really long sets (4-6hrs) with audacity than with sound forge 7. And the best part... It's Free and it doesn't have any form of spyware in it!!!!
