Decision on Roma's punishment

Just seen on Sky Sports News. They must play their remainder two home games behind closed doors and Kiev wins by default 3-0 in the game that got abandoned. I think this is a fair punishment and i hope it gives other italian clubs a kick up the backside.

I still think though that racism is a majoy problem in Italy from what iv seen. Arsenal havem, in the last 5 years, recieved problems there everytime, and it seems something that UEFA does not even care about.

Took a long time for a decision though, they originally said they would make a decision within 48 hours, but then again, this is UEFA lol.

The correct decision imo opinion. More importantly it shows that UEFA are taking these thing seriously at last and hopefully it will end the "one rule for them and a different rule for them" approach they have been advocating over the past 5-10 years

UEFA and their silly ways. This is better than nothing. Hope this doesn't happen again.

i think its a bit unfair on the club because the club shouldnt be held responsible for the actions of a single person ... what if i go into highbury posing as an arsenal supporter and knock of a player or referee and arsenal be made to suffer for that.. id like nothing more .. problem is i cant think of a fair way of dealing with such a situation.

The sad thing is that when it's UEFA, they get punished but when it's in the Italian League(Trying to blow Dida's head off:rolleyes, they do nothing. I don't think there is any doubt in corruption and superiority within the Italian FA, something(hopefully) we can all agree on...

i agree i dont see a fair way of dealing with such a situation, but its not like they should let it slide like nothing happened...so i think its fair that they acted on this

Roma have had these few hundred crazy "fans" for years now & the club has done virtually nothing to prevent them from entering the stadiums. They were forced to play a few home games at a neutral venue last season but they still did nothing about it.

A fair decision.

Roma should take legal action against the forkhead who threw the coin (or whatever it was). A few million GBP should do the trick. Justice for all.
