way too political.....even for guys to wear it, in the end its not one person who has the abortion but 2 people. Once every now and then some idiot comes up with this some stupid crap like that that gets people pissed off.

it doesn't really say anything.
do you really think a normal person that actually had an abortion would wear that? no. so it doesn't matter, it's just a T-Shirt.
Interesting shirt. Dunno if I would wear it... especially not if I was going to be walking around anywhere in the bible belt down in the US.

If you wear a T Shirt with any kind of statement, you are obviously wearing it so that people see it. Hence, people who read it will get offended if they have issues with it.
Now, we are going to start talking about rights, yes, we all have the right to free speech but everything should be don’t in good taste!!

Personally I think the shirt is a good idea in that it helps to reduce the stigma associated w/ abortions (and sitgma with the reasons for getting one).
One would be surprised with how many people have abortions. I have a few friends who have had them - and it's a damn hard decision to come to. I think bringing the subject out into the open, opening peoples eyes to who has them - is a good thing.
It would take a brave soul to wear one however, I'm sure.

oh please, and everyone's definition of good taste is the same? If someone is in favour of allowing women to have control their own bodies how is that in bad taste? If everyone stayed away from things that offended everyone else no one would ever say a word.

I think an "I had an abortion" tshirt is in bad taste. As RJ said, this was an extremely hard decision for women who have had to resort to it. I think seeing this tshirt would just add to their grief. A more appropriate tshirt would read, "I support a woman's right to choose."
