Newr has already answered question 1 - Boa does not have a liquor license BTW
The doors usually open at 12am
Gets good? Usually cover goes up after 2am, but Boa is ALWAYS good... If you're there for the music and the crowd, you shouldn't have to worry at all... Oh yeah, don't forget the sound either
The residents are on for roughly 2+ hours but again, it really depends on who the headliner(s) is/are... Remember, Danny Tenaglia was on from 12:30am to 2:00pm, there was no opening DJ!!!

I think Boa starts getting good around December 27, 2003.

The crowd size normally peaks between 2:30-3:30 if that's what you wanted to know. Headliners are usually on between 3:30 and 4:00. But as far as I'm concerned Sean Miller, Nevio et all are worth going for all by themselves. As to when it's "good" well any time I've walked through the door it was awesome. Very friendly crowd *points to everyone who's posted so far* and very polite/helpful staff. No alcohol but that's a result of Toronto's very early last call 2am. Oh yeah and the sound is crystaline all the time! So if you're looking for an incredible new experiance GO TO BOA!!!
