Sad Cartridge Problems

I have an old pickering XV-15 Cartridge on a gemini headshell and When I put it on the vinyl, it makes a scraping noise, and it also comes through the speakers. I've tried changing the height of the arm but that just made the needle jump off the vinyl because the plate is a little warped

warn stylus. You could use a 500al stylus on that cart or better yet, just replace the whole cart.
