If that's true, then no wonder Felix Da Housecat is never a headliner at anything worth attending.... That's just freaking absurd....
Not even a 10 hour set from PVD is worth that kind of money.....

You need to remember that a lot of deejay appearences around the globe are commercially hosted , like the heineken thirst tour tiesto had...... Thats whu the actual price the night clubs pay is different and always changes... Also you need to remember that in most cases the mega stars like Felix wont get out of the bed if you wont brg them to......

No DJ is worth $50,000..... I mean, I love the big guys too, but $50,000 is a lot of money and clubs need to stay open and people need to afford to come into the club.... I wish a mega DJ would take a stand and force ticket prices down so that more smaller clubs could afford to bring them in....
In Atlanta for example, Eleven50 is the only club that can afford to bring Tiesto, PVD, Sasha..etc, in twice a year....
I mean, when you think about airfare, hotel, limo,...you're really talking a lot of money....
A lot of really big celebrities only get about 70,000 dollars a night...I'm talking about pop stars and rock stars... these people sell out arenas with 50 to 100,000 people....
I'm not trying to degrade electronica....nothing turns me on musically like a killer set, but it's definately not worth these ridiculous demands....
And yes, there are those people out there that would say, "well, if they can earn it, let them....." "more power to them".... just remember what it's like to be in an area where the clubs can't afford to bring the big guys in... it sucks to have to drive hours and hours to pay 30 or 40 dollars to see your fav. dj...
Oh well....maybe one day things will change, somehow...
