hay guys not sure if this is the right place to ask but i am haveing trouble getting really cool photos of the lighting at clubs/raves i was wondering if there is any trick to it im thinking somewhere along the lines of haveing flash off or on ive tried both maybe i need to be a certain distance away? any help would be gratefull thanks

What kind of camera do you have man ?? We need some details first . There are many things you can do you from altering shutter speed, ISO , and others.

try switch the flash off or continuous mode if you can, best if strobes go off as your taking it cos u get the laser and the people lit up. no real need to fiddle with shutter speeds.

ummm its a pretty poor digital camera i bought from cash converters for 150$ (thats australian $$ prolly around 10 cents in all other countries hehe) its a Kodak easy share cx4300 it has

red eye flash flash autoflash aparently zoom but never been able find it and no flash .... im guessing the camera is to poor to get any decent photos BUT if it isnt and u guys know some tricks please let me know hehe im gonna try that takeing photo as the strobe goes off thing hopefully that will work wellish oh one thing it has thats annoying is it has about a 2 second delay from pressing and holding the take photo NOW button so its hard to time especially when .... under the influence but ill give it a go thanks guys

Got any photos we can have a look at to see how bad you're doing?

Seriously tho, when taking good clear pictures of people, try and be no more then 2 meters away and always use the flash.

With crowd/dancefloor pics, be around 5+ meters aways and use the flash if you want a clear and defined image/and no flash if you want the pic to be washed blurred(more of an effect really in a dark/moderate lit club)

Trippy laser shots/lighting shots etc etc. don't use the flash and go wild

You shouldn't really have any probs with that camera tho.
