The stanton is certainly better, it does alot more stuff. However this player is pretty new, so i havnt heard much about it, but the pioneer is already well known to be quite solid.

To be honest though i would take a chance and buy the stanton, as long as it had a warrantee.

It's true that the Stanton can do more stuff (on paper), but will it be really useful? Are you gonna use those effects or are you looking for a decent, strong built CDJ-deck?
I'd recommend the CDJ-100 since pioneer is pretty much standard in clubs and events. If you are gonna play out one day, the chance you get a CDJdeck of pioneer is huge. If you get the CDJ100, you'll know how the pioneers feel. But, if you're seriously about beginning to DJ, I'd do what Tw1tchy said...

hrm...
if i can put my money on this Stanton..
do u recommend me to buy it?
it has a cutter (beat cutter or something..) and some nice effects like scratch... and 100% pitch etc..

if i got the money for it,
do u recomment me do buy it instead the cdj100s?
the stanton is dependable?

If I were you, I'd go to your dealer and ask him if you can feel both players. You should actually buy the one you like best. It's pretty hard to say if a brand is dependable or not, but I have my doubts about Stantons reliability. My TT (ST100 of Stanton) broke but it was still luckely under warranty (luckely, they give 2 years). The promissed my i'd have it back in maximum 2 weeks. After 2 months, I had to call in the judge to settle the business. After 9 weeks, I got a brand new ST100. Their warranty service isn't too reliable. Anyways, I'm not gonna say that their s-450 sucks, cuz I simply wouldn't know since it's a pretty new model. New models do tend to have some problems... It's up to you if you want to take the risk.

About the effects, I really think you shouldn't spend too much attention to that anyway. The 100% pitch, you'll NEVER use. The CDJ100 has a couple of effects and to be honest, nobody hardly uses them, so I doubt they're pretty useful.

But again, you should feel both players and you should buy the one you like best. Stanton gives 2 year warranty whereas Pioneer only gives 1. But you can really rely on Pioneer... so, my recommendation is: try them out.

Thank you,
and again,
i must know if thihs stanton is dependable because if it isn't , i will buy the cdj100s...its not a good idea to buy a CDJ that will be crashed in a few weeks !

btw- if i have any problem with this stanton or cdj, i can go to the store that i've bought the stanton from, and they will fix the prob..
