Before, even a 200mhz upgrage was a big deal, now thats nothing. In 10 years we went from 486 processers to pentium 4/233mhz to 4 ghz. The rate at which we are growing is so fast its incredible.

We mistakely thought we would have far more leisure time at our disposal because of new technology. Rather, the new machines just help us get our work to us faster and more intrusively, during all hours of the day, waking -- and sometimes sleeping.
