1. i cant name them all, but i can tell you that they are horrible sounding.
2. not good, but fair enough for a bedroom dj.
3. I've heard good things about the vmx300, if i had to get a behringer, i would get it. Its cheaper, and it doesnt have all the useless crap that the djx700 does. I've heard so many problems with the djx700, and had a few myself for the short time i owned one before taking it back. However i've heard fewer cases of the vmx300 breaking down. But if you can save up for something better quality like a vestax pcv 275, or at the very least a pcv 175...

hrm, its too expensive for the man who looks for it..(my friend).
I have djm600 but he is looking for something cheeper like behringer or something...so which mixer of behringer is better then DJX700 and won't break down?
maybe the pioneer DJM300S is better then behringer's ?

I just bought the djx 700 and if You actually take some time to use and learn the DJX 700 It is actually a very nice mixer. The effects aren't too bad past number 40, and everything is pretty good, except the bpm counters . THEY SUCK

search and read other threads. when this mixer first came out everyone was stoked cuz it was basically a DJM600 at less than half the price. since then i know alot of people have had alot of complaints about them, sound quality, poor effects, and just overall breakdowns.

i have spun on these mixers and i personally think they are garbage, but for the money they have alot of nice features. but this is NOT a mixer that will last you for a long time and if you really get into spinning you will definitly end up upgrading (probably within a year or so).

i would recomend buying something a little more basic, without the effects and all. vestax has some really nice mixers that arent too expensive. effects are cool and all, but they wont make you a DJ. alot of people rely on effects too much and then their mixes sound like crap when they get in a booth without them.

learn the basics, and get good at that. than if you want effects down the read you can allways pick up one of those pioneer external effects units or a Kaoss pad or soemthing like that.

of course this is all just adivice coming from my very humble opinion.

well there's the pcv-175 for ~$250 and that's a ok mixer, also there's a pcv-180 thats around the same price as the 175 but has a silver plastic chassis, there's also ecler concept series that are good. And you can't beat the quality of ecler's smac pro series.

Behringer on the other hand, is too risky. Some of their stuff may work well for years, while others will be DOA.

I have had it for about 2 years now and it's great! I don't use it too often though. But for $200 dollars you can't beat that! The effects suck and so does the beat counter. I primarily use it for its 5 channels. It looks nice too. I just can't see myself spend 1G for a mixer, that's just too much.

ive been playing with one of these mixers. they where ok the first week we used it, then the next week it had a little problem with one chanel. then next week another one. its only been less than a month and there are only two channels left. upfaders arent that good either, you hear nothing till about 3/4s the way up. so the upfaders may look long but only 1/4 of the upfader is really usefull. eqs are ok, they work fine for me. effects are useless. there just there to make the djx look like a djm. effects work only with a certain speed. i suggest you get a vestax instead. maybe a pcv or pmc. hth!
