my girl and i just got back from ibiza. pretty wild trip. expensive but worth it, many things to enjoy. there are lots of things i wanna say about the trip, however, i am very tired. pictures i wanna post too but i will do that tomorrow after i get some rest. as for the shows i saw:
sunday: space sunday (residents, steve lawler) - residents rocked and what a sound system when it is turned up
monday: DC10 (residents) - one spanish dude rocked with some tech/prog
tuesday: amnesia (shulz, van buuren, m.i.k.e) - need i say more but i left after van buuren. did not see m.i.k.e.
wednesday: cafe del mar - watched the sunset and relaxed
wednesday: prevledge (mauro picotto etc.) - crappy system, crappy main room. good music. vibe sucked. the person before picotto (forget the name, big techno guy - but he sucked) this was our least favorite club.
thursday: cafe mambo - excelent sunset, excelent food, appearance from zabiela and sasha
thurday: pacha - zabiela and sasha. easily the best venue and party we partied for so long that we almost missed our flight off the island. Purely unbelievable. 7 hrs of nonstop music from these guys. who could ask for more? we were blown away!!!

I too recently got back from Ibiza:
Thursday: Tiesto followed by PVD at Cream Amnesia...what a way to begin the trip, PVD was brilliant that night.
Friday: Pure Pacha with Sander Kleinenberg, Angel Linde and Pete Tong. This night was nothing special, Sander's set was good and the club was nice.
Saturday: Back to Pacha with Danny Howells, Hector Romero, and Satoshi Tomeii. This was a fun night out...Danny Howells rocked it.
Sunday: We Love Space @ Space...What an incredible Club. DJ's were
Groove Armada, Jeff Mills, Steve Lawler, Josh Wink, Tom Novy, Voodoo and Serano, David Phillips, DJ Sin Plomo, Jon Ulysses. Steve Lawler is the fooking man, the guy put down one of the most wicked sets I've heard in a very, very long time. Glad we checked this out. Groove Armada was fantastic too, and Josh Wink was also fun.
Monday: There wasn't anything special this night, wanted to go see Sven Vath at Amnesia but needed rest.
Tuesday: It was a tough choice between Armin/Markus/M.I.K.E. at Amnesia or Carl Cox playing all night at Space. I figured since I hear Armin and Markus every week on the internet radio, I would go see Carl COx at Space. Fantastic that I did, because this guy lived up to his legendary status. Carl Cox is absolutely amazing, and after going to this party I went out and got a couple of his CD's. The man can mix!!!
So that was my trip out of reality...will I be back?
You bet your ass I will
