Question Ferry Corsten vs Thrillseekers - Sublime & George Hales - Autumn Falls

I was just chilling in my car, listening to some tracks... when I came across this interesting fact

Why does the main melody in George Hales - Autumn Falls sound so similar to The Ferry Corsten vs Thrillseekers - Sublime melody?

it's got a be a coincidence because those melodies are reallly similar, or is each adapting a melody from a different piece of music or is it just such a simple melody it'd be easy for 2 seperate producers to just come up with it?

help me out guys?

and oh yea, i'm not dissing on either cuz i think both just plain rule, i just want to clear things up and make sure im not the only one who's noticed it

Howdy,

I do agree that they sound alike, but i actually came up with the melody without having heard sublime at all. The track has gone on to get major support from both Ferry Corsten and Steve Helstrip, so the legallities of it all seem fine.

They're both great tracks but I don't think they sound too alike. Sublime is out next week i think. :-) 21st August or around that time.

Both tracks are great. Sublime was a big track when it was first heard, but, that was so long ago. I would have thought that it would have been released by now, considering i heard it atleast 6 months ago. If sublime had been released around when it was first heard, then im sure it would be a bigger hit, than it will be when it released next week, as some have said.

Any of you guys notice how much of a rip off Micro - Penetrate is off of Liquid Child - Diving Faces? It took me a while to put my finger on it, but, damn, it's like the same exact melody.
