Hi,

as you might have read I'm getting everything ready for my fresh and new monitor speakers and some extra nifty stuff

Now I have this huge disappointment. I had myself a nice 'studio' room, but there was this closet from the previous person, that had to go before I could set up my studio nice and centered and very well balanced for the speakers. But now God forbid, it turns out I can't t (break out) the closet. That's uncool !

So Try to picture the room :
It's right in the top of the building, and it has an old fashioned roof, you know, one that isn't flat but goes down in an angel both sides. So the walls ain't straight, but they lean over about 30°.

Now, the main dsk will be put in a corner, well not really in a cotrner, but like .. since it's not a straight wall, it's not really against the wall, but the wall kinda hangs over that speaker..

You see ? the wall is the line and the speaker is the square with 'moni' from monitor in it.

The right speaker is in the middle of the room, and has no walls surrounding it for about 1 meter.

The speakers (monitors I know, force of habbit) will stand about ... 90 cm from my ears or so ? Yeah something like that, or a bit more, at the very end of the desk.

Now I know putting speakers ina corner screws around with the bass. What can I do here to mainimise any deformation of sound by the wall ? I think the sound coming from the left box will be more deformed as the right one, but .. can I fix this ? Is it even noticeable if I sit so close to them ?

I really really appreciate any help here. Damn, I had drawn the entire room and it was looking sweet, and now I'm getting pushed in a corner aaaaaaaaah !
