im sure this has been answered but,

how are ipods/other mp3 hard drive players, responding to longer sets? I know sometimes ipods used to lock up during them, then had to go threw a stupid process to unfreeze them. Is there still that problem

uh my mp3 player takes a second or so longer to load up a large mp3...

it has froze before when it found a badly encoded mp3, or one with a fucked up header etc but is fixed by deleting the fucked mp3

my iRiver iHP-120 has yet to freeze on me. It handels 3+hour sets no problem.

My ipod 20 gig 3g taks 6+ hour sets no problem.

I can usually get 8-10 hours out of it. With the new ones it's about 16 hours.
