on radio 1 a while ago i heard a remix of cygnus x - the orange theme, searched through their archives and very helpfully they've labelled it as....

"Cygnus X – The Orange Theme (Remixes) (ID&T)"

basically the breakdown of the song is very similar to tiesto's version of adagio for strings - as in it's very electroniccy, offbeat and 'harsh' (if you see what i mean!!)

i'd appreciate it if anyone could help me out and tell me what remix it is

So many remixes of this classic. From your description a stab in the dark says maybe it was the Moonman's Orange Juice Mix.

i jus have the man with no name mix at the moment, but the only release on id&t is this one:

I found it by listening browsing thru only-djs.com

What I was after was the recently released Martin Roth remix... thanks for your help anyway though - i'll check out the other remixes
