I watched this iraqi team play on that gillette sports program and I was very impressed with them, Their passing was very quick and they scored two excellent goals.

I say good on them, because they haven't exactly had the easiest of lifes.

On another note wtf is it with italian teams. Drawing 2-2 with ghana I'm distraught.

absolute shit display from portugal. you'd better have some random under-23 right back than frechaut, what a shit defender. boa morte was pathetic too, and didn't do much to improve his perfomance with the "half-aggression" that got him sent off. ronaldo sadly should have been sent off as well, however he did was one of the guys that played better. i'd like to see less of frechaut, boa morte and hugo viana and more from carlos martins, raul meireles and danny.

Now Im a huge football fan and Italy & Swiss supportor, also England too since I live here now. To me the Olympics is a bad tournament. I rather watch the U21 Championships than this. Although Portugal looked bad shocked to hear they had Hugo Viana, Postiga, Ronaldo etc playing for them!

Italy will wake up. Gahna is strong and have a great mid-field presence lead by Appiah.

My prediction: Italy v Argentina in finale with Argentina winning 2-1.

Tevez, D'Alessandro, Saviola, Kily, Cavenaghi? and others. This team is unstopable.

How did Hugo Viana play?

He must be seriously lacking fitness at the moment. He's on loan with Sporting Lisbon for a year, do you think he will he be a regular for Sporting from the start or will he have to earn his place from the bench?

well, he played like shit. maybe it's because of the lack of fitness but he didn't seem to run at all or have any confidence (though he wasn't as bad as frechaut ). dunno how is he going to play at sporting, but probably going to struggle for a first team place unless he improves his form very soon

and yeah appiah's goal against italy was great
