John johnson isn't that good. His style doesn't suit a lot of the tracks he remixes.

i actually have mixed feelings about john johnson... some of his productions/remixes are good, some are ok, and some are just down right garbage

I agree. I think his remix of Oliver Lieb "Lightspeed" is excellent but what's so strange is that he seems to remix a lot of progressive tracks but give them a somewhat bland Epic trance style e.g his mix of Bedrock "Heaven Scent". Also, his remix of Ralph Fridge "Angel" is just so bland.

I personally don't like the man's style, he ruins anything he puts his hands on! Just my opinion..

Agree with you, I like his remix of Sunburst - Eyeball, and the remix of Apex - Virtuoso is also OK, but his remixes of Dawnseekers - Gothic Dream and Freefall - Skydive is really bad IMO. The original mixes of these tunes are great, but Johnson straight out ruins them. However, this is just my opinion....

I didn't think the Dawnseekers "Gothic Dream" mix was that bad. I thought his remix of Oliver Lieb "Lightspeed" was fantastic but his mix of Ralph Fridge "Angel" was very bad!
