Dunno Virus Vocoder? and how to disable full duplex??

whats up all

I am having trouble getting the vocoder on my virus B to work. I can hear the input, but only the effects on the virus do anything. I can't play a key and have it do that robot voice thing like my JP8080. The manual basically says "just use our vocoder presets" which I deleted a long time ago and replaced with better patches.

Also, I need to know how to disable full duplex on my Delta 44 soundcard. That way I can record using softsynths. Any ideas???

I don't own a virus but I do have some synths with vocoders and I know that in order for you to hear anything you have to set the frequency settings properly and also you have to keep a key depressed in order for the amp envelope(teh amp needs to be triggered for any sound to play) to let the signal pass through. You might also need to set a patch or sound as a master to modulate the incoming signal.
