Former Irish Preist Disrupts Marathon race

Anothe loser robs someone his gold medal

"An Irish protester ran from the crowd and pushed the leader of the Olympic Games men's marathon to the roadside in a bizarre incident on the final day of the Games here on Sunday.
The protester was named as Cornelius Horan, 57, a former priest with psychiatric problems who disrupted last year's British Grand Prix at Silverstone, a Greek government official told AFP."

Can you imagine...you work 24/7 for years and years...you make it to the olympics to represent your nation..you;re close to gold and then loser comes out and ruins it?

Serious this Irish bastard should be shot. He was trying to spread "God's word". Gee I didnt know Christianity condoned such acts...to lierally dash a runner's hopes for gold.
The man shoild be shot in the head. Let me tell you...there are people in 3rd world countries who barely make a few dollars a day WHILE going becoming engineers, doctors, etc. They would give anything to have a chance to come to Western nations and be PRODUCTIVE citizens..then you have people like this...

The common sense thing to do would be to award him the gold anyway as his victory was beyond reasonable doubt but they would never have the balls to do that.

That's bad. Security was not that good this time. Sometimes people don't respect the athletes. Shame.

I still doubt the brazilian would have won the race, he was fading fast with 5km to go and that Italian was really gaining on him. I'm just surprised that someone other than a kenya or someone from ethopia did not win.

Uh? Are you talking about Brazil? It's not like that here, at all. And this "3rd world country" things is quite misleading.

Remember the idiot who ran on the race track last year during that F1 race, it is the same guy. He obviously has mental issues.
