For those of you that have tons and tons of mp3s, how do you catalogue them? I've heard there are some good programs that do this.

Well I catalogue them by MusicFolder/Artist/(Livesets/single)

As for backing them up... I don't (i've got like 40+GB of music, all my media is something in the ballpark of ~140GB). That would be pretty much a pain in the @ss to back up. So I remain content, knowing that if my HD gets destroyed for some reason, I can either a) re-download all my stuff pretty quickly, or b) download all new stuff!!

but i still keep the originals on my HDD

I have another HD that I only use to back up MP3s .... it's kept in my shoe box.

i back up once in awhile on cd, i need to get a dvd burner badly!!!!
