Bolton 1-0 Liverpool

Ok so I'm mainly posting this as a tease to all of the Scousers/Token ones from down under/europe) but as much as I know that Luis Garcia was not offside, I can't help but think Liverpool are in trouble

Dudek = dodgy, erratic

Riise = not the player he was

Warnock = ok but not liverpool class, yet anyway

Cisse/Baros = worrying partnership, garcia is more of a wide man, and with Sinama as only real backup, how will you manage a season without 4-5 good forwards ?

I think Riise is stuck in hoof mode from the Houllier era.

Warnock is lookibg promising and could well keep Kewell out.

Great cross for the Bolton goal, Josemi should of did better to stop Pedersen.

Benitez wanted the new signings to start this match, so I expected Hamann to be on the bench, but he wasnt and when I saw the lineup, to me it look solid with 4-5-1, but the match told otherwise. The formation was too experimentive.

It seems work at Liverpool is still in progress.

Not surprisingly to me as Bolton is rather strong at home.

Liverpool are killing me! I had high hopes for them. They need another forward though.

I can't believe he started with Baros as the lone striker!!!! if you look at most of the goals Baros scored in Euro, they were mostly off feeds from his fellow strike partner. He is not the type of striker that holds the ball up and waits for the attacking midfielders to arrive! bad tactics Rafa

yeah mate I think that's a lot of the problem, Alonso, Hammann and Gerrard are good midfielders, but all are good at long shots and decisive passes, the Bolton trio for example have a guy who shadows the back 4, speed who runs his ass off, and okocha who creates, and it only works because of that, with the wide men getting more forward and the man upfront being strong to either lay off or take on the ball, Baros is great, but as said I don't think he's the best at this, I'd play Baros to the right, Cisse in the middle, and Kewell just off him on the left
