IMO its one of those movies that coulda been decent, but well, didnt turn out that way.
You kinda get the impression that the director had a good thing going in his mind, then halfway through producing it, he just said "fuck it, lets just do this and that, who cares"......
Too many unrealisms killed it for me. I know its hollywood, but sometimes its just like "oh c'mon". From the fucking wolves chasing the guys on the ship, that just didnt need to be in there imo, to the guy running away from the freeze (which was coming from both sides i might add), to the father walking from philadelphia to new york.....Sure its not IMPOSSIBLE, but, its a stretch...
and I guess they accidentally passed new york city, cuz when they arrived, they passed the statue of liberty (which is east of NYC in the bay, philly is ofcourse west of NYC).
I dunno, just a bit of too much stretch for me.
