Affordable 4 channel mixer ?

Hi, it would be nice to have some input here. I searched the forum (I didn't check all 400 pages where the word mixer turned up a search result though), and didn't quite find help. As some might know now, I'm buying that Denon mixer with the alpha track. But to be able to use it at it's fullest I need a 4th fader. I now have 2, since my 3rd broke (it's a JB Systems mixer, still my first one ever). I don't think I need any special things on my mixer, I have been mixing just fine without any on board faser or whatever they put on those mixers nowadays. And pretty much anywhere I spin in belgium they own that big rodec mixer (I can't afford btw ). With 7-8 channels ? Well .. a lot ! And it's a pretty basic but very solid mixer. I need 4 channels simply for the CD, alpha track and the 2 decks. It would be NICE to have one with a great crossfader, I know vestax makes some really really over-sexy scratch tables, but those have only two channels, I don't know if their bigger ones have the same finesse added for scratching (basically all you need is a VERY good corssfader and REMOVABLE/REPLACABLE crossfader). My budget .. Oh I don't know .. I wouldn't mind keeping it under 500$ that way I can buy all I need in a month or so. (I mean not in this month, but after a month of doing shitty jobs for dumb ass bosses ;p)

Thanks

JB-Systems MX4 is like the only affordable 4-channel mixer of quality (well, quality, you get what you pay for. Don't compare it with rodec).

One VERY GOOD 4 fader mixer is the SynQ SMX-1. My number 1 recommendation if you lack the money.

The Ecler MAC 4 is also very good. Slightly more expensive though.

If you want a really professional mixer with 6 faders (there aren't any with 4 faders), the A&H Xone:62 is what you're looking for.

I hope this was helpful. I'd go for the SynQ if I was you

They have all the goodies, effects, filters, sampler, and matrix as well, u can send any input, to all four channels if u want!!!!!!! Prolly one of the better mixers for your buck. Another thing, is thay are software upgradable as well. Try www.dn-s5000.com, u will get all your answers there!!!!!!

not compared to others though. I have a vestax 275, has 3 channells, but a fourth line in, so i can hook up, both of my decks. The sound quality is gr8 too. I will get the denon eventaully as it goes with the decks beautifully.
