What's better : the "Early bird" or the "graveyard" ??

so what's a better schedule ??

working the early bird shift, starting work before the sun goes up, or start working at night until the sun rises ..

i've done both types of shifts, and i think i am pretty weird .. i like the early bird shift .. i don't know why ??

what do you guys think?? what kind of schedule would you like to work?? or if you are currently working either types of situations ....

probably the reason i like the early bird shift, because i have to cross a bridge over a lake, and i like having the wind hit my face early in the morning while i am driving on the bridge ..

how about not work at all.
I do a normal days work from 6am to 6pm. Though my actual 'work' time is from about 10am to 3pm. My brain does not start to function until about 9am in the morning & then I lose motivation at around 2pm.

I like to work on my music production from 8pm to 11pm.

I fly afternoons/nights (or try to) 2pm-12am

I can't stand waking up early to go to work...4 am is too early...I like to sleep in...get a bite to eat then go to work. There is no happy median and no such thing as an 8-5 schedule in this biz.

I'd rather get up early and go to work. I'm pretty miserable for the first couple of hours after waking up no matter what - might as well get paid for some of that time instead of having it be my free time.

Working nightshifts makes ur life go at lightning pace.U barely know what day it is and u wont have anytime for day social activities. I worked about 3 months nightshifts(12hrs).. felt more like 1 week.

i guess it dependson ur body clock. Are u nocturnal or a day person? Also it depneds on wether you actually give a shit abt ur job. I know a kid who hated his, so he took the early bird even though hes nocturnal, just so that he wasn't completely awake , and work hours went by quicker.

my personal opinion tho:
night shift by a mile, more interesting things happen in the dark, :P

Been working the 10pm - 6am shift for the past 6 months and I must say I enjoy it a lot more than I ever did the early shift... I just can't wake up that early, damnit.
