dont know too much about this guy so im after your opinions
heard him play his set at Creamfields 2004 here in Liverpool, thought he played okish, only ones i knew were Mark Norman - Phantom Manor and i think he played Signum - First Strike (Signums 2004 Remix). But he just stood there the whole time like a statue, didnt move once, didnt look up or clap or do a little dance. Was it nerves, or is he always like this?
I cant really pass opinion on the guy having only seen him once, but i dont think i want to see him again it was a releif when Jules came on and Armin after him, they actually interacted with the crowd, clapped, danced etc

Yeah, I thought he played well, and I'd not heard of him before either. But compared to Adam Sheridan, who was on earlier, it was a bit more subdued.

I've seen him a few times (3, maybe 4) and I only saw him "active" once. Strangely enough, it was the set I disliked the most from him. *shrug*

IMO hes ok, but nothing too impressive. If he was the only headliner at a event I prob wouldnt attend.
Hes ok. A very nice guy in person. He comes to Seattle like once a month at least it seems so I get my fill of him. I've probably seen him at least 10 or 12 times and he just doesn't really do that much for me anymore. His CDs stopped doing it for me too.
Yeah I managed to catch his set at Creamfields and I thought it was ok. I did notice that the sound engineer was at the decks for ages trying to sort some kind of problem out so maybe that was kinda killing the mood for Chris.
I have to say that the lightning in the main tent made it very hard to actually see the DJ at all. It was just like looking at the same person all night.....

Saw him live @ Spundae about 3 years ago (yes, that's ages ago I know). I was a big fan of his then, but that set didn't impress me much. Sandra Collins also played that night, and I think I liked her set a bit more.
I was a big fan of his cd's though, and I credit him with increasing my interest in EDM and trance.

He's probabaly one of the best US trance has to offer, especially if you compare him to Acosta..but then again US trance doesn't really cut it. not enough of a following there to create opportunity for trance DJs/producers.

I love to dance to Christopher Lawerence's sets. I've seen him 9 times I think and he's blown me away 8 out of 9 times. He especially blew me away the last time I heard him. He's definetely one of my favorite dj's and just a super nice guy. He really nows how to put a set togther and take you on a journey. He's very focused on what he's doing when he plays. I was so bumbed he wasn't at WEMF this year. I know Destiny loves him. I can't wait to hear him again. Sometimes people don't have a good set. Some people have different opinions too. I wish I could of heard him play at this Creamfields thing.
