Ok... I have been mixing Trance for about a year & a half. I love PVD he is fucking awesome. This si the reason I spin trance. Recently... I have look at my 50 Records wich are most trance.Majority music is on CD, I was thinking of trying to spin Techno. I mean I look at Dave Clarke he is just badass. How is it spinning trance vs. techno. I realize I would have to dish so much money towards new vinly.I like techno because it constanly keeps you working the decks. Unlike trance 1 vs 1. Techno you can mix multiple records at once. What u guys think? Also for u techno Dj's. Please , Please leave a list of GOOD Techno LAbels. So i know what to look under.

My advice, dont ask for opinions
Buy the music you like, variety is the spice of life and will most probably help diversify your sets.
For labels, again my advice is dont ask. Go to the online stores and listen to the stuff on their if you like it get it, therefore you aint influenced by any dj's as such and you create a style you like and hopefully is individual
hey, lol i posted a near identical topic not that long ago its a few pages back i cant be assed to get the link lol. In my opinion its definatly a good thing going through these "style" changes. I think once u go through so many you start to realise wot records you urself actually love not wot was just played on the latest ASOT, and u learn to define your own sound.....

if i was you i'd probably just start buying more techno and mixing it into your trance stuff until you build a better techno collection

I agree... it may not make sense now but it likely will months or years from now, in hindsight, and you'll be able to unify your personal tastes under one rooftop. Really, it's all music.
And if you need to go between, there's always:
tech-trance

Currently going through the same thing (not into techno tho')
Just buy what u like and make it fit..then one day..you'll think..ahh this is the sound I was after
Also...dont try to sound like Dave Clarke or PvD...just be yourself.
