Should I get this...

I was surfing around a forum (not this one) the other day and came across this post on "Tricks to making music"... There's this website that has rhythm pattern guides for melodies, basslines, high hats, and drum beats. It only cost 4.99 and has 500 pattern examples...

here's the link of website that I'm taking about... www.MEKKEM.com

Should I get this...?

imo it's a waste of money, if you do a little deeper research here on TA you'll find threads that contains the most usefull patterns already, and for free

I've done it. Just waiting for the links to be e-mailed to me.

Only costs $4.99. Not a lot of cash.

that someone did it before does not matter at all.

but the fact that you did it ALLONE makes it hell of a fun and makes you like your tracks even more.

all my Subtractor sounds are made by tons of people before me, but the fact that i made it by MY OWN makes it fun.

just my 2 cents, it's certainly great that thing but i always said never follow any guide like it's something holy, just try to get the picture and see how you can give it that twist.

There's only room for you to improve. I'm sure there will be interesting little patterns in there that you would have never thought of. Sounds like a great learning tool, just like studying a melody inside a midi, no?
