hey im new to all this music production but am tired of getting a song i made up stuck in my head and then lost, so i want to make music. I hurd from a few friends that for my level of experience fruity loops or acid would be best ...but which one?

I have both and fl is better for producing imo. U can get things done quicker/easier usually and it has a hell of a lot of functions that acid doesnt have.

when it comes down to brass tax.. unless you have hardware, Acid just doesn't cut it becuase it has HORRIBLE VST/DX CPU management.. for example.. one instance of softsynth X will take up 20% of your CPU whereas on better sequencers, it will only take up 10 or even 5%

Well I saw that one in a CD-store for only 5 Euros. I bought it, and traded it for a sample pack just the day after!

The only good thing synonymous with Acid is the remix competitions they run on www.acidplanet.com. It's a great site to check back on every once in a while to get GREAT VOCALS!
