Good afternoon. You will die in six months.
So, a friend of mine got told this recently. Hospitalization is an option, but I don't think he's going to do it due to the extremely low chance of surviving.
What would you do if you had six months to live? - assuming you will have relatively good health and a healthy sum of money to spend (say, 30K)
He asked me what I would do. I want to hear what the masses here have to say.
Here is what I would do:
I would hop on a plane to America, stopping in every city I have a close friend at to visit them. I would not tell most people, but I would tell my closest friends.
I would say goodbye to my family while I am still in good health.
I would set off toward Mexico (from Oregon) - heading toward Central America, staying as close to the Pacific Ocean as possible. I would not fly - hop from town to town via hitchhiking and cheap busses and such.I would basically walk or ride from town to town, country to country, until I got to Rio Di Janeiro. I would party my ass off along the way. From there, I would fly to Africa and hike up Mt. Kilamanjaro. From there to South Africa. From there to Jerusalem. From there, to India. From there, to China and Japan. From there, to Thailand and the French Polynesian Islands. Then, to Australia. After diving the great barrier reef, I would do a hike in the outback, and probably die of some crazy animal bite or something like that. If I survived it, I would go to the deepest forests of New Zealand and live the rest of my days in solitude, writing about my entire life. I would tell no one about this.
So... what would you do?
