Hmm. That looks interesting. I already have the Depeche Mode's 6x6CD singles collection so i doubt i'm gonna get this tho, not just for a few new mixes.

It's a shame that BT's mix of "It's No Good" isn't on there because that is a superb, very acidy trance stunner. Like a gorgeous diamond inset within a foundation of glistening gold. I think it may not have been included because I heard rumors attesting to the possibility that Martin Gore may not have liked it and didn't approve of it, for whatever reason, which must have been disappointing because Depeche Mode influenced BT.

but when you are depeche mode and you are basically legends, you can turn down or allow anything you want. No one bitches about Carl Cox, the stuff that he turns down is unreal and it never sees the light of day. I don't see why Depeche Mode should have to explain themselves, the original rights belong to them and the record company, so they can control it the way they want.

And conversely, on the flipside, this has only made BT's remix more popular. Sort of a "remix prohibition" if you will. I first heard about it through bootleggers.

Is there more information about the Carl Cox situation you mentioned?
