bah, dont go to tu. Go to Texas A&M, music scene is no where near the same, but its great!!! Love being an Aggie!!!

OK sips, don't get your panties in a wad, I'm just kidding. tu is a great school, i just like stirring up the school rivalry.

ya, go straight to A&M. don't bother with those tea-sips.
College Station (the city of Texas A&M) has like 120,000 population with about 55,000 students (A&M + community college) thats a damn high student to other person ration, parties galoure!

though, ya austin is a great city too. i'm moving there next week.

lmao @ the conclusion of your post

imo, fk living at College Station, it's in the middle of nowhere. Austin has much more than just a university, lots of culture, plus UT is a great school from what I have heard. I'm thinking about transferring there some day, as I go to UTSA (San Antonio) right now.

I graduated A&M and I would say UT is a great school to go to. They outperform A&M in a lot of areas. The city of Austin is great too, but when I was deciding between the two schools, it was the people that made up my mind to go to College Station. I hate hippies - I really do. Austin is full of them. I am not big on homeless people everywhere asking for money either. Austin has them too (probably about 10% of their population from what I can see). Girls, hands down A&M has them beat on that.

If you're going for a great education and a good fraternity / sorority population, UT is definitely a good idea. Like I said, I would have gone there too.

Dont go to A&M for the love of GOD!

Stick with UT, Austin is a bitchin town. Theres always something goin on and theres people from all walks of life there. I'm planning on moving out there when I graduate from Tech, which by the way is a bad ass school as well(although the location isn't to choice).

How can you even say that when you picked Tech??? Dustbowl of the world!!! At least at A&M - Houston/Dallas/Austin/San Antonio are within a really quick ride (makes getting to all the different DJ's much easier). Now for some reason Tech does have a lot of hot girls, although I think thats a Texas thing in general...we sure do grow em nice and pretty here!!!!

Stereotyping is so cool. You can find your fair share of homeless people everywhere. Austin is a great city full of a lot of young people and a great nightlife. Personally I love it and plan to move there someday.

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. - Timothy Leary
