yeah.. he's a colombian artist... I havent heard the song yet but when i saw that carlos vives was on an oakenfold Cd i was shocked in dissapointment thinking that oakey is going back to his dark BUNKKA times but i still haven't heard it so i can't judge yet...

because paul has taken UNKLE - IN A STATE sasha mix dub and has added carlos vives small pieces of voice on it. So the result is magic

there not shit in general but the placement is shit and they repeat consecutively which makes it annoying

not quite. the guitar riff is completely different as well as everything else in the track, it just has the same feel as sashas remix of 'in a state'

my first thought when i heard the track on Oakie's album was "hmm, this would mix quite well into In A State (Sasha Mix)..." and i almost expected to hear it be mixed in after that song. it does certainly have the same sound, especially towards the end of the song.

anyway, i do like the song a lot. even the vocals.

I just bought the CD today and im really impressed.. Especially with the Carlos Vives song.. I thought it was gonna be a really comercial crap like Oakey's Bunkka tunes but its a really good tune... One of my favorites of the album!
