Same, something mighty significant would have to happen for me to change. I don't mind some Labour policies, although some are blatant popularist (?) policies that won't work, but they'd fuck it up anyway, along with the economy and do a crappy job of running the country. If I had ANY confidence in Labor and their ability to run the country I might vote for them, but even though I don't like a couple of Lib policies (Tax, Hecs) I'm voting for them.

Don't really care about the Lower House, just make sure you vote for the Dems in the senate. This goes for Liberal voters too: if the Dems lose enough seats, then it's the Greens who will hold the balance of power there. Wouldn't you prefer to have us there instead?

ok i come from a strong liberal background / family, but im really at a loss as to who to vote.

Liberal: they fucked up with the whole war thing, i cant support them because of that.

Labour: have good policies for environment, health, education. I went and heard Peter Garret speak few weeks ago - but Labour will also be for things that im against.

Greens: well u'd think i would be voting for them - but no, although im pretty much a hippy when it comes to environmental issues, they also support things that i dont.

Democrats: are they even worth considering? really?


So im still deciding.

Im voting based on my profession
liberals have royally fucked up medicare, less incentives to bulk bill meaning a back log of non-severe cases in the emergency departments. Why is there a 6-8 hr wait to get a bed let alone to see a doctor, because people front to triage with minor things


Its a big ask to improve health and health care but atm i dont see the liberals doing that.
