Sad, Mellow, Ambient Tune

This is an older track that I never bothered uploading but I think it's worth a listen. A very emotional melody and a smooth synth working together with some nice pads. There's a bit of DnB influence in the bassline as well... the track comes across as a mix between an underwater-style ambient jungle tune and a trance track. A nice break in here as well.

Enjoy. Comments and harsh criticism are always welcome.

i like this nice strings, very cool chord progression, almost like a film sound track, lots of variation, i dont like the drum n bass loop youve used, and i think in some parts, the pads over wealm the rest of the track, like make it sound a bit crowded. i do love this tho, very specific mood. the chords are brilliant, somehow sad, but yet exciting and dangerous

keep it up

*bump*

Just wanted to comment on this one. Good chilled trancer you've made here. Lush pads and melodies with a good cinematic feel. I do however agree with Mike Foyle about the d'n'b loop. While on paper it is a good idea for providing contrast, it detracts from the soothing, calm feel that you're trying to create. Try something else, maybe a slow dub rhythm or some glitchy FX to contrast the epic feel. The ending is a bit too abrupt, but I think you already know that.
