Empress
New York, NY - Drum n' Bass Adrenaline AM // Contagious Musiq // Topaz
With all the djs that are out there today, Empress' pure talent and passion shines like a light through the bleek haze of egos & mediocrity. Sought after by promoters, artists, bands and fans worldwide, Empress continues to move crowds, grace studios and stereos across the globe every day.
DJ Wally aka Pish Posh
New York, NY - Drum n' Bass Adrenaline AM
DJ Wally aka Pish Posh, born Keef Destefano in 1972, is one of the leading lights in the avant-gardist abstract beatz scene that's currently rising from the New York dance underground. Combining hip-hop sensibilities with drumnbass leanings and a strong taste for the absurdly silly and abstractly surreal, Wally has been carving his own niche on the worldwide beatheadz stage now for over 8 years as well as spinning wax for over 16 years.
ZERO
San Antonio, TX -
Freak Recordings UK, Deadline Soundsystem, www.deejayzero.com
Zero's road to the turntables began outside of Los Angeles, California in
1992.
Since his introduction to the world of techno, house and breakbeat he has
literally seen and experienced the A-to-Z of underground culture.
From having promoted with some of the most reputable promoters of years past
to working as a reporter with the now defunct Los Angeles zine "Tranze.
Zero’s love for music has gradually progressed into the art of DJing and
producing.
He still believes his biggest accomplishment has been his ability to remain
true to the original purpose of rave culture. "The hardest thing people have
with the whole ‘rave’ thing is that after time they forget it's main
purpose, which was to have fun, just listen and dance."
In 1998, an impromptu personal and collegiate career would take him to south
and later San Antonio, Texas, where he currently resides.
Basing his sets on an upside down U theory of mixing, his sessions are known
for unpredictable track selections and unique mixes.
"When people ask me what style I play I will usually say that it depends on
the mood I'm in. I am still a big believer in the upside down U theory of
mixing. Meaning that a set should be like a song, with interesting intros,
hard build ups, complex breakdowns and soothing endings. I owe so much of
this ideology to the people who have influenced me over the years.”
Original works of Zero have been showcased in Urb magazine and have been
acclaimed by Freak Recordings label head Dylan.
His mixes have been spread cross the globe via mixtapes, CDs and online.
Over the past four years, Zero has been an active member of the Texas Drum
and Bass community. Working together with fellow DJs, producers and
promoters he’s devoted his life to representing his adoptive state and
fellow drum and bass aficionados.
With the world of drum n bass continuing to grow so ever large and the
United States becoming a major player in the world circuit, there is little
doubt Zero will keep pushing his unique sound of drum and bass to audiences
everywhere for years to come.
Listen up!

AREA 512 Stage
DMX
Phoenix, AZ - 303 Collective
In what was a fitting testament to his time spent in the Hip Hop ranks, 1998 saw David open for the LL Cool J show and Busta Rhymes and Naughty By Nature in 1999 at Fiddlers Green Ampitheater rocking 15,000 fans to the DJ DMX mix..1999 also saw David being asked to judge the Vestax USA DJ Spin-Off, responsible for sending a DJ champion from Colorado to the Regional Finals, where he sent DJ Dragon thru to the USA Finals. What's in store for this eXtremely busy and talented DJ in the new millennium? "I've become more turntable focused getting caught up in the skills to do different things that make the records actually perform
like an instrument".
Mindbender
Seattle WA - Biofunk Records // SMT Productions // Respect Recordings
With ten years of his life in a studio and only four years behind the decks Dustin "Mind" Bender has been twisting heads all over the globe with his manipulative approach to mixing. As an established dj Dustin is now also trying his hand in the production and engineering of the same raw style breaks in his record crate. In the year 2004 Dustin and artist Nick Kelly are pioneering the independent record label, Biofunk Records, route through the music industry.
Boogie Monster
Austin Tx - Technotainment.com
Chuck Winston, professionally known as ‘BoogieMonster’, has steadily made a name for himself throughout Texas. His funky, banging house sets have rocked the dance floor in Austin, Dallas and Houston for the past two years. An implant from the East Coast (Washington, DC), Boogie has been in the dance music scene for just about ten years now. A track isnt just a track with Boogie it’s a tool. And hearing him live bears witness to that. Its best to say that his style of house is “music you uncontrollably shake your butt to.” Even Boogie is known to get his groove on behind the decks. “I play music that I want to dance to. If I don’t wanna dance to it, why should I expect anyone else to?”

Skatepark Stage
The first of three planned phases, TSR’s 15,000 square foot street course-style park is designed to meet the needs of athletes of all skill levels as well as cater to their lifestyle. With great transitions, ramps, rails, half pipes and fun boxes, concrete and steel throughout, the many features and great open viewing areas play host to skateboard, inline and freestyle bmx competitions, camps and clinics throughout the year.
ZION
Zion returns like a phoenix from the ashes, zion evolves and returns much stronger. still with lead singer, Carlton Pride, the line-up has expanded in not only musical quality, showmanship, and spirit. Zeke Benenate, the bass player, is the band musical leader. Along with new members, Matt Jacobs on the keyboards, Ricardo Barnes on percussions, and Coutińho De Souza on drums, rounds out the best line-up Carlton has had since he has been playing music. About a year and a half ago, Carlton Pride went on a journey to find his old producing friend, Homegrown, to collaborate on a production called the Dub Rockers. Homegrown, a mystical tribal muse can only be found with deep prayer and meditation, but did show up to help with the Dub Rockers album because of the serious social implications this album contains. So now it is time, for those all over the world to feel the magic of the new Zion, music angels. The music produced by Carlton Pride & Zion Reggae Music can be described as melodic tunes, which combine the flavors of reggae, world beat, dancehall and dub.
ELECTRIC MAYHEM
2 Djs 4 Tables
What began as a replacement for a cancelled show has become a weekly phenomenon at Lucy’s on the Square in San Marcos. Electric Mayhem (comprised of Chief and DJ Crown of The Word Association and soundman Chris Lynch of (A+) Machines) is a night dedicated to the art of turntablism, and for over two years the group has continued to perform for several hundred people each Wednesday. One of the first side projects to spawn from the now defunct .::liquidstereoproject, Electric Mayhem has become a testament to the fact that people will support forward thinking hip-hop over the radio hits of the day if the presentation is done well. With a powerful blend of turntable skill and unique record selections, four turntables are barely enough to capacitate everything. The members of Electric Mayhem have one common goal: to solidify in the minds of hip-hop lovers the importance of the DJ.
