Markus Schulz starts us off! Each and every week, our host Markus Schulz starts us off with the essentials. The newest and
hottest tracks being played by the biggest djs worldwide. This is a can’t miss hour. Then Markus really gets into it with an
amazing one-hour mix. Just the thing to get this started off right.

Way Out West returns to the Broadcast! Way Out West when the luscious tones of 'The Gift' first catapulted onto Top Of
The Pops in 1997, it was immediately obvious that Way Out West had more going on than the usual dance act. Just as
co-creator Nick Warren, with his gamekeeper past, comedy writer cartoonist brother, and high quality DJ career that has
included Massive Attack and super club Cream, clearly has something more than the average DJ. With its eerie, evocative vocal
from Brit-soul diva Joanna Law and its gorgeous, fluttering melodies, 'The Gift' connected as deeply with people never found on
a dance floor as it did with die-hard clubbers. Even the Halifax Building Society felt moved enough to include 'The Gift' on a TV
advert - though they still turned Nick Warren down when he applied for a mortgage.

26 year old Jody Wisternoff, the other half of Way Out West, released his first record when he was just 15: a home-made hip
hop collaboration with his rapper brother Sammy, that came out wrapped in Bristol cool. The child prodigy spent all his time
DJing at illegal raves and making tunes in his bedroom studio so the family did a deal. "There was an agreement that I had one
year to make money, otherwise I had to take my A Levels," Jody remembers. While Jody divides his time between obsessional
studio sessions and an international DJing schedule, Jody enthuses about new vocalists like singer Aly Kennon, the breathy,
slightly folksome voice on the sweetly sad 'Intensify', who he found singing in a restaurant. The restrained emotion in her voice connected instantly with the moodier edges of Jody's musical psyche. "Every time I sit behind a keyboard, the chords I play are
melancholy. There's always a tearful edge," he admits.

When Nick Warren was a gamekeeper in the wilds of Oxfordshire, he used to walk Gary Glitter's dog. Living in Bristol in the late
80s he was a key DJ on the city's underground music scene. He toured America, as Massive Attack's official DJ then became a
resident at Cream, Liverpool. Now he's one of the most respected DJs in the world - though he prefers to play abroad because
he can create the kind of cutting edge soundtrack British clubs, more mainstream than ever, can't handle. "The best crowds are outside the UK. Northern Ireland is fantastic but really, I go to Israel or Hungary or the States or South America and the people are really into good music."

There is no danger of Nick Warren ever falling out of love with dance music. "It's the repetitive nature of it. That's the main thing.
There's so many more surprises in dance music than in rock music. We're making sounds that have never been heard before."
Jody, meanwhile, just wants to keep chasing the perfect track around his studio and the perfect club around the world. "It's one of
the nicest things we do, going out, dancing, communicating with people, eye contact," he says. It's as simple as that.

Benz & MD join the Broadcast! Originating from London, Ontario, Canadian DJ Greg Benz (www.gregbenz.com) began his
first residency in 1999 at DV8 nightclub. Greg maintained a busy traveling schedule performing at numerous clubs and events
across North America including the infamous Sona (Montréal) and Turbo (Toronto). In a short time Greg managed to quickly
climb the ranks and earn himself a spot as one of the most wanted progressive DJ's in Canada.

While growing up in Southern Ontario, music was a dominant force in the duos lives. Hip Hop, house music and compilations by
Sasha and Digweed served as a preface to Greg's DJ career. With over 8 years as a DJ now under his belt, Greg has played along
side some of the worlds top Dj's such as Max Graham, Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Chris Fortier, Donalde Glaude, Dave Ralph
and Mistress Barbara. Greg's knowledge for the mechanics of dance music and his understanding of what it takes to make a crowd
move are not only evident in his hometown but also spans the global scene. In April of 2003 John Digweed himself invited Benz
to share the airwaves with him on his esteemed radio program on Kiss FM. The international feedback of Greg' s set for the KISS
FM show has positioned Greg Benz as the next generation of up and coming DJ's to watch for.

While Marco's tastes led him to a formal musical training background, his teaching and playing music as a teen helped shape his
musical vocabulary. Marco dipped his melodic hands into all types of music from classical, jazz and blues, to soul and hard rock.
The guitar was his instrument of choice but after being introduced to the lush and intricate sounds of groups like Underworld,
Orbital, Depeche Mode and Way Out West; Marco soon switched over to synthesizers, samplers and software-based instruments.
Also an accomplished and world wide recognized digital artist, Marco draws on his musical talents as an extension of his artistry.
Where by the layering and texturing of sounds can be paralleled to painting with colors and composition.

Benz&MD’s initial demo material received enthusiastic responses from several established record labels and prompted John
Digweed to personally call and comment on the quality of each composition. The initial seven demos were all signed and remixes
were also commissioned. International support was received from such DJ's as Sasha, John Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Nick
Warren, James Holden, Max Graham, Satoshie Tomiie, John Acquaviva, Jerry Bonham, Matthew Dekay, Mick Burns, Shiloh,
Starkid etc.

In early 2004 there own record label "Aurium Recordings"(www.auriumrecordings.com) was launched. The label is run by Greg,
Marco and partner David Strauss and will concentrate on pushing a more melodic progressive sound. Tracks and remix's already
signed by Benz & MD themselves, Subsky, Bluehaze, Shiloh, Delikate Imposters with many more to follow...

With more productions, a record label and remixes already in the works for 2004, you can listen for a tougher, deeper polished
sound from the duo who will continue pushing the sonic envelope to emotionally charge their listeners on and off the dance floor.
