Dunno Breeder - Sputnik / Breeder - New York FM

I bought Breeder's 'New York FM' today, the Tilt/Sander remixes and the breakdown from the Tilt mix reminded me of a song I heard long ago. Wracking my brain to think of what song, I start to go through some of my old cassettes of the Paul Oakenfold EM World Tour and came across the Liverpool University Mix and I am sure it is something on there.

I was right, but looking for a tracklisting I am finding conflicting information.

Phoenix - Arizona (Breeder Mix)
Breeder - Sputnik (New Yorm FM Mix)

Well after searching on Discogs I think I can disregard the Phoenix and as Sputnik also appears on Diggers GU014 CD, which I haven't heard, I am making the assumption it is this.

I found this on discogs, and this appears to be the only vinyl release for Sputnik:

http://www.discogs.com/release/65884

So first question... does anyone know if there are limited copies of this, and if I would need to break the bank to acquire a copy or was it quite freely available?

I also found this post on tranceaddict search page:

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...er+-+Sputnik%22

And second question, is the Van Bellen Mix of New York FM what I really need to be looking for?

Any help would be appreciated.
Steph

yes its commonly mislabelled as the phoenix tune...its the Sputnik one

just wanted to elaborate. i've heard both tunes and the Van bellen mix is similar melody wise, but its not the same tune...

Ok thanks for quick response, the Tilt one is similar at the breakdown.

For the record, "Phoenix - Arizona (Breeder Mix)" should be Evolution - Phoenix (Breeder Remix).

Right, I have that that though and it is a completely different song to the one in the Liverpool University set. But thanks for clearing that up, Phoenix - Arizona doesn't seem to exist anyway.

Breeder - Sputnik is on John Digweed's GU14 Hong Kong set(disc 2)
For a while I thought that it was mislabelled on the tracklisting and ordered New York FM(the remixes), but turns out that the Tilt and Sander K remixes aren't it. I found the original New York FM, which is Sputnik on ebay a few months ago. Not too expensive, but not too common either...I actually saw a copy floating in the record bins at a local vinyl shop.
Comes with Rockstar on the flip, which was featured on Sasha & Digweeds Northern Exposure: Expeditions.
Quality vinyl.
