While we're on the topic of vinyl, where do people buy vinyl in melbourne? What shops do you recommend? i usually go to dance arena (sanity) because of the $5 specials. Does anywhere else in melbourne have prices like this? I LOVE $5 vinyl!

yeah i go into dance arena sometimes (i found clear blue water remix's! there) but they dont have alot of trance and its liie 20 bucks a vinyl.... but i guess were starved for shops in perth
its so gay i wish there was a good vinyl shop
i suppose central station is a little better but there still all shit compared to a nice big store... i swear thats my dream... im gonna open a good vinyl store in perth :P
hehe but im thinking you know if theres not one now maybe theres no demand for it

Record collector corner in swanston street looks pretty good for second hand stuff, though i've only had a quick browse. The decks i've got are a Technics Sl-D303 and a Song ps 242, the sony hasn't got much torque comparied to the technics but there both direct drives. Where do you guys go out in melbourne? I'm from north east vic but i'm moving down soon.

i also hope to get some decks, although at the moment i will be sticknig to the cheapest crapiest brand till i get my mixing upto scratch
But the main problem is finding a store that sells vinyls! here in brisbane, that is pretty hard! checked out the vinyl makers to buy, with al lthe accessories it is around $50,000! decided i can buy MANY vinyls for the same price! although first i need at least 1 deck
