i used to be into electonica such as The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers, so i'm guessing it was inevitable that i started to veer for Dance electronica, where Trance suited my needs.

Like so many Robert Miles for me... But more importantly for me the seeds were planted with Future Sound of London, they truly got me hooked on that 'sound' of trance.

For me, it started in 1994 with Techno & Happy hardcore (Westbam , Marusha and yes mister Scooter) , and then progressively since 1997 i went to Trance

me I used to go to Gabba Techno raves back in the day and listen to Djs like Clarkee, Scorpio, Mark EG, and M Zone, fuck sometimes actually wondered how I danced to Gabba techno hahahaha, around 1997 all rave music went shit actually to tell the truth it got shit in 96, so something new came along once Gabba techno was dying I picked the way of the trance.

My best friend invited me to come over to listen to techno/trance, because I told him I dind't like it (but that was just because I only knew the mainstream tracks at that time). We spent all night (!) listening to music like DJ Fly, Emmanuel Top, Platipus tracks (like Red Herring from Union Jack), Mazzo-cd's (club in Holland), Billy Nasty, The Age of Love, etc. and started dancing in his living.
He died two years ago, but I'm trying to keep that part of his spirit alive by playing music I know he would love...

A bit similar happened to me excepto that in 1993 I started a bit with eurodance, but in '94 changed to happy hardcore & tschno too, yet in 1995 I got into trance, I was in Monterrey (North of Mexico) and went to my very first rave, there I heard DJ Mar T 9000 (now Martin Parra) and he played trance, the I got hooked!

My has been listening to Jean Michele Jarre and Giorgio Moroder when i was younger. They are pioneers of electronic music and date back to the 70's. Well then i got into listening to their stuff and as time went by it rooted to what i listen to now which is John Digweed, Pvd and John Creamer & Stephane K
