Great night. I'm so glad that I went. The music was really good.
DJ Rap is HOT , and she did a good job of getting everyone in the "mood".
David Morales was, well, WHACK!! He was playing some house, which is good to hear, but I just wasn't feeling what he was playing. Toward the end of his set, the house music started to resemble old school Latin house beats. I could have sworn that he was going to drop the song that had the vocal: Aqui, yo quiero traigo etc etc. he also had some song that had a baseline that you could fit the vocals from "wiggle It" into. To me, he was a waste of space.
Sasha was really good and into his set. Some good stuff. First time I ever saw him live. Def would go see him again.
Pvd followed and his set was really good too. Not as good as Summer Stage. I heard a couple of songs that i didn't recognize but the majority of the set I knew or heard the songs before. Let me tell you this, PVD had Crobars system PUMPING. His baselines were amazing and sounded really crisp coming out of those speakers. Def hope he decides to use this as a venue instead of Roxy.
I left at 2:30, had to drive someone home and then went home and slept for 2 hours so I could be in work by 6.
Sean,ALyssa, Drew, Zaneta, Arty, Sal, Bryan: Great seeing you all and partying up again. We all had alot of fun. hey Alyssa, What about that weirdo that was pissing me off that I almost decked like 6 times. I was so glad when he got the hint and moved away. Fuckin asshole.
Last but not least:, My little vandit girl Geanina: it was great to finally have you come out to a party and actually hang out and have a good time! It's always nice to have one of my best friends there partying it up with me! Luv ya babe.
OK, back to work. I'll be back later!

I liked PVD's techier set! He did have that sound system banging, it sounded really clear. I just wished he didn't drop "Time of our Lives" because I really hate that song. "For an Angel" is cool but I am a little past that. The rest was killer...
Sasha started slowly for me, nothing special, but later it picked up and it was good. Very nice to see Sasha hand it off to PVD and that they embraced. That was worth the pride of admission right there. Oh wait, it was free.
David Morales was absolutely horrendous!! I call that style Diva House or even Gay House. Cheesy ass singing songs one after the next.. man I was HATING it. Save that for Miami or something.
DJ Rap is hot but the set was just alright. Her being my wife would be nice considering she could sit there and spin for me when I'm bored.
I didn't stay for Alex Gold considering I wanted more than 4 hours of sleep.
The crowd was good, not too many testoterone charged meatheads that typically fill up Crobar shoving into you all day. It was packed but room to dance. Unfortunately, there still weren't that many honey's there which has been the usual for me once I moved to New York. I think the west coast brings out more women to EDM. Just my observation... too much sausage out here. Still, everybody was just enjoying the music last night.
I liked the fog, that was a nice addition. No train horns too.. YEAH!
For a Tuesday, really a good night overall.
From after the first part of Sasha up until Time of our Lives it was tight.

I had an awesome time. My ears are still buzzing, heheheh. I arrived with DJ Eternal at around 9ish, met up with the rest of the TA's and waited till the doors opened. We had some fun buggin out on line, DJ Irene was interviewing and video taping and we were on TV live on channel 126. I wonder if anyone was able to tape it....
Anyway, we got in....no one was checking names for the guestlist and dress code wasnt enforced either. The staff seemed surprisingly friendly. Opening was DJ Rap, she spun a nice set and got the crowd going. After that was Morales and I wasnt feeling him too much but it was tolerable bob your head kind of music After him came Sasha which was the highlight of my night.
Sasha spun a really nice set. I recognized 2 of the songs he played from his performance at the Virgin Mega Store but whatever. I was with the rest of the TA's, (well most of them) for the entire night right up front. Security up front was pretty cool and they didnt act like assholes about me constantly standing on the rails taking pics and screaming at the DJ's heheheh. The lights could have been better, but hey its a free party Im not gonna hate. The vibe was pretty cool with the exception of this one older dude that seemed to like to hang with Joey, hehehe, couldnt dance to the beat worth a dime but swore he was the shit. We eventually moved him out of the way, and there was one girl that tried to push in between me and Alyssa up front and we squashed that really quick then she had the nerve to ask me to move, I was like umm NO!!! I am here with my friend. Geez there was plenty of room for her on the other side of me. During Sasha's set they turned on the Co2 which felt like it was aimed directly at my face. BRRR cold! I couldnt see my own hand in front of my face. Everything was white and cloudy.
My feet were killing me but the pain faded when I was dancing my ass of to Sasha's set. PVD came on next and I wasnt as impressed with him as I was at Summerstage. He played alot of his own productions which I am not a big fan of. Thats when the pain in my feet came back and I said fuck it and took off my shoes for the rest of the night. I felt like such as asshole wearing shoes and people got in with sneaker. Well for next time I know the deal now. I left at 2am and dropped off John at home and went to sleep around 3. Forgot to set my alarm clock before I went to bed. Woke up late at 8am and I should be at work at 8 but whatever, no one even noticed that I wasnt here so I snuck in nicely.
It was nice hanging with DanAX, Partyhopper, Alyssa, Andy, Joey and his friend Jeanina (sorry if I spelled her name wrong), Brian KidNyce, Avikonen, Jon, Trunks Sal, Enigma T, and the rest of the TA's. Here are some pics. I dont have the best cam in the world but I try
Everyone should have come out to this. It was definelty worth the time, and it wasnt disappointing at all like I was afraid it would be.
