Sony 7506 Headphones - Hard to find in US?

I have headphones but saw some threads saying that the Sony 7506 cans are hard to come by in the US.

Is this true?

Here they are shipped for $89.95 plus handling fees.

7506

They're also called MDR V-6 if I'm not mistaken.

7506 are what they're called in Europe or something...

They are both the same apparently .... the V6 is cheaper for some reason.

Through my job I have acccess to sony service information and they don't have the V6 manual online so I can't compare the parts/specs with the 7506

I thought the V-600s you could get in the US, but the 7506 was the European counterpart?

I thought I even read a thread recently about someone waiting for them to come across the Atlantic.

They are very very hard to find in the uk, and very expensive when you do.
I ordered some from the states
They are common in the US, as are the V6s, but sony in their infinite wisdom decided to leave them out of europe.

They are both totally different

V-600 is like a downgraded version of the 7506 ... more plastic involved I believe

Stop thinking the 7506 is rare in the usa it's NOT!

Who cares if it is rare or not? I got the impression it was tough to find. Since I then saw them when I was looking at the Sennheiser deal, I figured I would post the link to them in case it was rare and people may want them.

I am not even looking for headphones, just looking out for others.
