Here is a mix I did tonight that I thought I would share with yooz. I figure a lot of you prog addicts will like it.. It's pretty much all prog trance with some more tribal stuff in there too.. and finishes on the more melodc side of prog trance.
Would really like some feedback on it, and figured the prog head doods here could give sme good criticism.
Couple of older tracks in there, ATRC etc, but I was trying to find as many nice tracks as I could.
01: Planisphere - Frogger
02: Mark Otten - Tranquility
03: Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Perry O'Neil Remix)
04: Subsphere - Sweet Fragrance
05: Luke Chable Pres. Quest - The Shepherd (Heavy Dub)
06: Mojado - Blanco
07: Critical 7 - Lost (Descent Mix)
08: Endre - I Kill For You (Probspot Remix)
09: The Rush - Baby Got To Fly
10: Bobina - Lazy World
11: Rusch & Murray - The Promise
12: Roniski Speed - E.O.S (Perry O'Neil Remix)
13: Micro De Govia - Voller Sterne (2004 Remix)
14: Scott Bond vs Solarstone - Red Line Highway (Alucard Remix)
15: Re:Locate - Passion
Something I notice with prog trance, is that it's a little easier to mix.. and easier to long mixes... at least it is for me.. I find faster trance a little more difficult to do longer mixes.

I concur totally - I figure that 2 progressive choons mix way longer coz they have generally have more subtle melodies and more blendable textures which are less likely to clash. They also lend to more cutting and chopping and shite which can be especially fun coz you can't get away with that too often in melodic trance (which generally relies on continuity of melody).
Tracklist looks mint - I'll have a squiz.

teknoscaper, yeah I guess it's hard to define the line between prog trance and melodic trance.
I guess i call this prog trance coz it is much slower than my normal stuff, and also no where near as melodic - no big melodies as such.
I guess teh term progressive really depends on how fast you normally play.
ie: I have had hard trance DJs play me their 'prog', which.. was actually 139BPM tech trance ron Van Den Bueken Style... so... it's all relative I think.
Gumble, what's your problem man? U always seem to have something nasty to say heh. And what is it with you always telling me to go back to trancetribe?
